The wings over Jordan a respected African American choir during the late 1930s and early 1940s. The first independent African American to produce a radio nationally and international. The group held bridge the gap of race relations in the United States and Globally. The choir founded by Baptist pastor Rev. Glen Settle at Gethsemane Baptist Church on E. 30th and Scovill Ave. in Cleveland. Rev. Settle believed in using Negro spirituals to spread Christianity. 1
